How do I get started with Dayboard?â–¼

How do I add family members?â–¼

Go to Settings → Household → Invite Members. Send email invitations to family members. They'll receive a link to join your household and gain access to shared calendars, tasks, and events.

Can I sync with Google Calendar or Apple Calendar?â–¼

Calendar integration with external calendars is coming soon! Currently, Dayboard maintains its own family calendar that syncs across all household members' devices in real-time.

How do I assign tasks to family members?â–¼

When creating a task, tap "Assign to" and select a family member. They'll receive a notification and the task will appear in their personal task list. You can also assign tasks to multiple people or leave them unassigned for the whole family.

Is my family's data private and secure?â–¼

Yes! Your family data is encrypted and only accessible to household members you invite. We never share your information with third parties or use it for advertising.

Does Dayboard work offline?â–¼

Yes! View and edit events and tasks offline. Changes sync automatically when you reconnect to the internet.

What's included in the free vs premium version?â–¼

Free: Up to 4 family members, basic calendar & tasks, 30-day event history

Premium ($4.99/month): Unlimited family members, advanced features, unlimited history, file attachments, priority support

Family Plan ($9.99/month): All premium features, shared subscription, family admin controls

How do I manage notifications?â–¼

Go to Settings → Notifications to customize what alerts you receive. Choose between push notifications, email, or both. Set quiet hours to avoid notifications during bedtime.

How do I remove a family member?â–¼

Only household administrators can remove members. Go to Settings → Household → Manage Members, select the person, and choose "Remove from Household". They'll lose access to all shared data.

I'm having technical issues. What should I do?â–¼

Try these steps:

  1. Refresh the page or restart the app
  2. Clear your browser cache
  3. Update to the latest app version
  4. Check your internet connection
  5. Log out and log back in
